Job Title: Admin Counselor

  • To act as the face of IIDA, guiding prospective students through their career choices in design (NID, NIFT, UCEED preparation) while managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the Ahmedabad centre.

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Counseling & Admissions

  • Inquiry Management: Handle walk-in, telephonic, and online inquiries regarding design coaching and diploma courses.

  • Career Guidance: Provide expert advice to students and parents about design careers and entrance exams like NID, NIFT, and NATA.

  • Conversion: Follow up with leads and drive the admission process to meet monthly enrollment targets.

  • Documentation: Manage the end-to-end admission process, including form filling, fee collection, and student registration.

2. Administrative Operations

  • Batch Coordination: Maintain and update batch schedules, ensuring faculty and students are informed of any changes.

  • Student MIS: Update and maintain the student database (CRM), tracking attendance, performance, and fee records.

  • Inventory & Office Management: Oversee the availability of study materials, stationery, and general office maintenance.

  • Communication: Send out circulars, notices, and updates to parents and students via email or WhatsApp.

3. Marketing & Outreach

  • Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, and school visit presentations.

  • Represent IIDA at education fairs and local promotional events.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality.

Education: Any Graduate (A background in Design or Education is a plus).

Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers with strong communication are welcome).

Tech Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is a must) and basic CRM knowledge.

  • Job Overview

    We are looking for an energetic and persuasive Tele-Caller to join our team at the Indian Institute of Design Ahmedabad (IIDA). As the first point of contact for aspiring designers, you will play a crucial role in guiding students toward their creative careers. You will be responsible for reaching out to potential leads, explaining our design programs, and inviting them for campus counseling sessions.

  • Key Responsibilities

    • Outbound Calling: Initiate calls to potential students (leads) from our database to introduce IIDA’s courses.

    • Lead Conversion: Convert inquiries into walk-ins by effectively explaining the value of our design curriculum.

    • Counseling: Provide basic information regarding course duration, eligibility, and career prospects in the design industry.

    • Database Management: Maintain an accurate record of all calls, follow-ups, and student status in our CRM/Excel sheets.

    • Follow-ups: Diligently follow up with “warm” leads to ensure they visit the campus for a final meeting.

    • Feedback: Share insights with the marketing team based on student queries and common objections.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Education: Graduate in any stream (Education or Design background is a plus).

    • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in tele-calling, sales, or education counseling.

    • Communication: Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi; proficiency in English is highly preferred.

    • Persistence: A “never-give-up” attitude with the ability to handle rejections gracefully.

    • Tech Savvy: Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and handling phone systems.
